This year represents the fourth consecutive year of our partnership with the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA) under the Sustainable Plastic Waste Management in BMA Schools Project, reflecting a shared commitment to building long-term environmental awareness and practical waste management systems in schools across Bangkok.
As the program continues to evolve, the focus has expanded beyond student engagement to empower teachers and school leaders as key drivers of behavioral change and sustainability practices within schools.
Supporting this broader approach and recognizing the importance of leadership in creating lasting impact, the project expanded through the Circular School Leadership Program, welcoming 24 school principals. The initiative aims to strengthen sustainability practices, policies, and environmental culture at school level.
The PET Train the Trainer program also entered its third consecutive year, with more than 120 teachers participating since its launch. The program helps educators make topics such as the plastic lifecycle, waste segregation, and the circular economy more engaging and relevant for students through practical tools and modern teaching approaches, including AI-supported techniques.
Through continuous improvement and ongoing collaboration, we continue supporting schools as active contributors to Bangkok’s circular economy journey.
