In Europe, extended producer responsibility (EPR) regulations mandate that tire manufacturers take responsibility for the entire lifecycle of their products, with non-compliance leading to fines or legal liabilities. Eco-friendly design practices, including the use of sustainable materials and the design of products for recycling, can help reduce fees and improve environmental outcomes. We have industrialized the production of rPET tire cord yarn and fabric to support our customers in meeting their sustainability targets and regulatory requirements for low-carbon, sustainable products. This innovation enables the use of recycled PET in tire cord applications, reducing environmental impacts and advancing circularity in the tire industry. The rPET yarn and fabric have been tested and meet the required performance standards for tire reinforcement.
